SmartRep does not use identifiable constituent casework for its own purposes. The final contract identifies the customer controller and documents SmartRep's processing instructions and responsibilities.

The Irish product's application and casework database are hosted on EU infrastructure.

Connections use HTTPS. Each user can enable authenticator-app MFA, and an office administrator can require it for everyone.

Key data changes and administrative actions are attributed to the signed-in user and retained in the office audit trail.
● Role-based access & isolation
Every office is walled off by default. A separate, auditable collaboration workspace opens only when administrators in both offices agree.

What you need to know before a trial.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new councillor and TD subscription starts with a 28-day trial before the first monthly renewal.
How much does SmartRep cost?
Councillor offices pay €70 per month and TD offices pay €200 per month. Each subscription includes all authorised staff accounts with no per-seat charge. Both receive the full product; there is no annual plan and no VAT is chargeable.
Does the map predict votes?
No. It visualises recorded constituency activity by area so the office can see where it has done the work and where activity is lower. It does not infer an individual's politics or voting intention.
How does SmartRep protect sensitive casework?
SmartRep uses office isolation, role-based access, HTTPS, optional per-user MFA and attributed activity records. An administrator can require MFA for the whole office. The application and casework database are hosted on EU infrastructure.
Where is the Irish service hosted?
The application and casework database are hosted on EU infrastructure. Current subprocessor and transfer details are published in the customer legal pack.
Does SmartRep guarantee GDPR compliance?
No software can do that. SmartRep provides casework, access, audit, export and agreement workflows; the elected representative remains responsible for lawful use, notices and office procedures.
Who can see our office's records?
Authorised users in your office see only what their role permits. Offices are isolated by default; any cross-office workspace requires a separate, auditable agreement.
